There is only one train per day and it's route is: Belgrade - Bucharest with major stops in VrÅ¡ac and TimiÅoara. It departs at 6PM every day to TimiÅoara and at 7AM to Belgrade. Pass control and customs are made at the train station in VrÅ¡ac and usually last for about 20 minutes for the whole train to be checked. Ride duration is approximately more than 2 hours, the train going faster when on Romanian territory. Pass control and customs are made at Stamora-Moravita, Romania). The ticket in one direction from VrÅ¡ac to TimiÅoara is 540 RSD as of January 2011.Although VrÅ¡ac is just 12 kilometers from Romanian border, connections are rather poor. It is, however, easy to get a cab to the border for about 10 euro, walk over the border and take a Romanian cab/hitchhike in the direction of TimiÅoara from there. The cab from the Romanian border to TimiÅoara will be expensive, so it is advisable to first negotiate a price with the taxi driver.
